Tenerife vs Osasuna
The Segunda Division competition continues to roll amid the frenzied EURO qualifications. On Saturday (3/23), Tenerife is tasked to entertain Osasuna in the 31st place held at the Estadio Hellodoro Rodriguez Lopez.
The host is in a less than ideal condition after bringing a 1-1 draw from Alcorcon last week. Proper results for both camps after each of them produced 5 shots on target. It’s just that the score made Tenerife win only once and received 3 draws since the end of February.
Moving to the next camp, Osasuna successfully held a goal party over Rayo Majadahonda last Monday (18/3). This time Juan Villar, Unai Garcia, and Brandon each contributed one goal even though the team only had the ball 38%.
With that score, Osasuna have now collected 4 consecutive wins since drawing at Numancia’s headquarters, starting with a 1-0 party over Real Zaragoza and Gimnastic, then 1-2 at home to Malaga.
Osasuna is in an effort to maintain the standings with a difference of 6 points at the moment, while sinking Tenerife, which is still trapped in the 17th rank. They won 2-0 when they appeared as hosts last November after producing 9 shots on targets that were only replied three times by the enemy but the last 2 visits to Lopez ended with a 2-2 and 0-0 draw.
