UEFA Nations League Portugal vs Poland
Both teams are not playing anything anymore.
State of form
First team to qualify from Saturday in this League of Nations, Portugal won its group 3. After winning their first 2 games played against Italy at home (1-0) and Poland (3-2) , the Lusitanians went to Italy for a good draw last weekend (1-1) in this League of Nations. Note that last October, the Portuguese had been serious to win in Scotland friendly (3-1).
Even more disappointing than Portugal at the World Cup (defeat in the first round), Poland failed to raise the lead in this group of League of Nations which it occupies the last place. After a good draw in Italy (1-1), the Poles gave in at home against Portugal (2-3) and against Squadra Azzura in the second leg (0-1). In addition, the Polish selection fell last week, at home, in friendly against the Czech Republic (0-1).
Headcount for Portugal vs Poland
For this match, Portugal is deprived of Cristiano Ronaldo (still not summoned at his request), his master to play Bernardo Silva (rest), but also Mario Rui, Ruben Neves (suspended) and Andre Gomes (recalled but injured).
Poland must do without its top scorer Lewandowski, defensive cadre Jedrzejczyk and defender Monégasque Kamil Glik, three usual holders. Other absences to report include that of Amiens’ Kurzawa, former Lyon striker Rybus, substitute striker Teodorczyk (Udinese) and that of Sampdoria player Linetty. Promising midfielder Szymanski is uncertain. The Neapolitans Zielinski and Milik, former Paris midfielder Krychowiak and Blaszczykowski will be there.
In the first leg, Portugal won in Poland (3-2).
