Persipura Jayapura vs PSS Sleman
Persipura will host the promotion team, PSS Sleman in the Indonesian League 1 continuation on Friday (31/05) tonight. Persipura will target their first win in the league this season in this match.
Persipura appeared disappointing in the first two League 1 matches of the season. In the first match, they were crushed by Persib Bandung with a score of 3-0 in Bandung. Then in the second match, the new Persipura can reach their first points after holding host Persela Lamongan draw with a score of 2-2. By playing at home on this third week, then a clear victory will be an absolute target for Persipura.
On the other hand, PSS Sleman themselves performed quite well in their initial two matches this season. In the first week, they successfully beat Arema with a score of 3-1 in a hot game. Then in the second week they were only able to keep up with Semen Padang controversially with a score of 1-1. With the 4 points they currently have, PSS Sleman is ranked 6th in the standings.
Persipura is clearly more favored. Besides being a cage factor, Persipura also has a slightly better quality team than PSS Sleman.
