Oman vs Bangladesh
Oman tried to stick to the top of Group E ahead of the fourth week of qualifying. They will face an easy opponent, Bangladesh, who currently inhabits the position of caretaker. Not surprisingly, the host took aim at maximum results when appearing Thursday (11/14) at Al Seeb Stadium.
Currently Oman ranks runner up with a collection of 6 points, a difference of 4 points from Qatar who have played 4 times. Conditions that occur after last month they lost 2-1 at home to their rivals, the first defeat after winning over India (1-2) and Afghanistan (3-0).
Bangladesh itself did not move from the bottom of the standings after losing to Afghanistan (1-0) and Qatar (0-2), then drew with India (1-1). This result makes them fall to the lowest position.
Tomorrow’s visit will enter Bangladesh’s history book as the first visit to Oman. Unfortunately, they are expected to receive a minor result because they have never won so far, while the hosts managed to start their first home game with a convincing score over Afghanistan. In fact, it’s likely that Bangladesh will lose by a bigger score.
