Myanmar vs Japan
The red card incident thwarted Myanmar’s attempt to steal points in the opening week of Group F. In fact, they will face a heavy party the following week against Japan. The support of the people of Myanmar will be greatly needed when performing on Tuesday (10/9) at the Thuwanna YTC Stadium.
Myanmar began their campaign with a visit to Mongolia. Unfortunately, they failed to steal the numbers due to Maung Maung Lwin’s red card (65 ‘), while the hosts scored the only goal through the action of Amaraa Dulguun (17’).
Japan itself will start their journey in the match tomorrow. The Rising Sun team became one of the Group F favorite participants after appearing at the top of the Asian Cup. Unfortunately, they lost 1-3 to Qatar.
Japan did appear impressive since the group stage in which they wiped out three matches against Turkmenistan, Oman and Uzbekistan. Next, bulldoze Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, and Japan with a 5-0 aggregate. They were also invited to become additional participants of the Copa America, despite failing to qualify for the knockout phase with a defeat against Chile, then playing the series against Uruguay and Ecuador.
Japan really deserves to be favored in this group with so much experience. The first assignment was to travel to Myanmar, a country they had never visited until today. Three points in the first week will be a good start before meeting other participants, namely Mongolia, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
Our Prediction: Over 2.5
