FC Tokyo vs Yokohama Marinos
This weekend is a crucial period for the Japanese League which brings together the two top residents. FC Tokyo, while at the top, tried to maintain its position when visited by Yokohama FC Marinos on match day 17 which was held on Saturday (29/6) at the Ajinomoto Stadium.
The last clash was held in November 2018 with FC Tokyo’s 0-1 victory as a guest of Yokohama FC Marinos, four months after holding a 5-2 party at Ajinomoto.

Despite this euphoria, Yokohama FC Marinos is still overshadowed by a bad record away after losing 3 in the last 4 matches, namely against Cerzo Osaka, V-Varen Nagasaki and Shimizu S-Pulse, while the rest win over Shonan Bellmare.
On the other hand, FC Tokyo recorded only losing 1 time as a host since May, namely when against Vissel Kobe, while the rest won over Jubilo Iwata, Consadole Sapporo, Oita Trinita, and Cerezo Osaka.
