Everton vs Leicester City
In the middle of the week Everton and Leicester City will meet again after earlier this month competing in the EPL competition. This time they competed for the Carabao Cup semifinal ticket which was held at Goodison Park.
The match earlier last month was won by The Foxes with a 2-1 position. They are confident enough to repeat the results because they managed to earn 7 points in the next three matches, namely against Watford (2-0), Aston Villa (1-4), and Norwich City (1-1).
Meanwhile, Everton had another nightmare in the next match when they went to Liverpool headquarters (5-2), only then won over Chelsea (3-1) and drew at Man Utd (1-1). If you look at the last two clubs, of course Leicester City must be aware of the host resurrection trend.
Matty James is the only player who has been confirmed to be absent from Brendan Rodgers’ camp, while Everton has four players who are still injured, the other three are in doubt, including Theo Walcott and Gylfi Sigurdsson.
