Meanwhile, Stjarnan in his last match was only able to draw 2-2 against KR Reykjavik in the Iceland League event on Monday (07/22) early morning hrs ago. These results make Stjarnan’s position stuck in 4th place in the Iceland League standings with a score of 20 points from 13 matches.
For Espanyol, the match against Stjarnan will be their first step towards the Europa League 2019/2020 season. As for Stjarnan, they started their steps since the first round, where in the previous round Stjarnan had to fight hard to get away because it was only an aggressive goal superior to the FCI Levadia.
With the quality they have, Espanyol has a great chance to win this first leg. Moreover, this first leg will be held at the RCDE Stadium which is home to Espanyol. If you don’t underestimate the opponent then Espanyol can win this match quite easily.
