Barcelona and Real Madrid are preparing to bring Lautaro Martinez and Erling Braut Haaland to Spain. The Catalans already have a “principle agreement” with Inter to bring Lautaro, while Real will donate 75 million euros to Borussia Dortmund for Haaland.
Tuttosport notes that Inter would like 111 million euros for Lautaro, the main “target” of Barcelona this summer. On the other side, the daily AS notes on the first page the “assault” of the Real for Haaland from January 2021.
Barcelona wants Lautaro Martinez at any cost
Barcelona recently offered Arturo Vidal and Nelson Semedo, plus 70 million in exchange for Lautaro Martinez. Inter has now refused and is waiting for an offer of over 100 million euros.
The Catalans want an attacker at any cost after Luis Suarez has problems with the injuries, the Uruguayan striker already reaching 33 years. Instead, Lautaro is 22 years old and is one of Inter’s most efficient players, with 16 goals and four decisive passes in 31 matches this season.
Real Madrid, offer for Erling Braut Haaland
Real Madrid are also preparing to find a replacement for Karim Benzema. According to the management of Madrid, the Norwegian Erling Braut Haaland from Borussia Dortmund would be the perfect solution to the problems in the attack. Haaland has a clause of 75 million euros from the summer of 2021, and Florentino Perez wants to take advantage of this. Thus, according to the daily AS, Real will pay this amount since the winter of 2021 for the Norwegian striker to come safely to Santiago Bernabeu. Haaland has eight goals scored in nine matches for Dortmund.
