Wales vs Azerbaijan
Wales are trying to get back to winning ways to revive the chances of qualifying from Group E. This time they will face Azerbaijan at Cardiff City Stadium in the fifth week.
To this day Wales is still scattered in fifth place with 3 points. The point was earned after the win over Slovakia in the opening week, the next losing to Croatia and Hungary. They also have to move quickly in order to catch up to the peak which is currently 6 points away.
Azerbaijan itself will be the most appropriate option to be used as a stepping stone; they are still locked in the lowest rank because they haven’t reaped the numbers at all. Finally, they were humiliated by a score of 1-5 by Slovakia despite playing at home.
For Wales, the meeting with Azerbaijan fell back ten years ago with a 0-1 victory. At a minimum, the same results must be obtained, especially after opening a home match with the score against Slovakia. On the other hand, Azerbaijan started its away match with a 2-1 defeat at the Croatian headquarters.
This easy opponent becomes an opportunity for Ryan Giggs to apply his best formula. As is known, the legend of Man Utd has not found a patent formation, ranging from 4-3-3, 4-2-3-1, and finally 4-4-1-1. It also did not call Ashley Williams and Rabbi Matondo, while David Brooks was still undergoing treatment.
His predictions, Giggs will implement will rely on Wayne Hennessey as a goalkeeper, supported by Chris Mepham and Hames Lawrence at the heart of the defense. The midfield itself will be commanded by Joe Allen, while the front trio are occupied by Daniel James, Harry Wilson, and Gareth Barry as the spearhead. This formation should lead the Dragons to victory.
Our Prediction: 1
