Valencia vs Chelsea
Valencia will meet Chelsea in the matchday 5 of the UEFA Champions League from Group H, where the match will be held at the Estadio de Mestalla. Come to Spain, the Blues Blues have a big ambition of taking revenge in the previous first round when they humiliated Valencia with a thin score of 0-1.
Still clearly remembering the defeat thanks to goals from Rodrigo who use feedback from Dani Parejo, Frank Lampard also had time to get criticized after that and try to raise the morale of the team. Interestingly after the defeat Chelsea successfully rose with a win over Lille 1-2, AFC Ajax 0-1 and a 4-4 draw at home to AFC Ajax. Chelsea’s performance against AFC Ajax is fantastic.
Despite being left behind 1-4 but Chelsea’s quality can be equalized although there is a slight sense of disappointment for the fans for failing to take advantage of AFC Ajax’s shortcomings that only play with 8 players only. While the stronghold of Valencia they lost to AFC Ajax 0-3, a 1-1 draw with Lille and a 4-1 win over Lille. Valencia is very difficult to face AFC Ajax, even compensating for the Dutch team’s game is unable.
The game against AFC Ajax can be a consideration because last season’s Champions League semi-finalists are indeed favorites and the quality of the game is arguably the best for Group H. In addition, Valencia and Chelsea were equally defeated in the last match, but Chelsea fell against rivals Manchester City while Valencia is defeated against Granada which incidentally they should be able to win.
The competition for the round of 16 tickets from Group H is very fierce, 3 teams have 7 points each. The party of life and death in the remaining 2 matches will always run fiercely and do not rule out there will be high emotional friction. But back again for this fight, Chelsea actually have the quality to beat Valencia. The results against AFC Ajax, are the main consideration. Most likely Valencia unbeaten.
