Romania vs Spain
In the fifth week of the EURO qualifiers, Romania gets a chance to cut the distance directly from the peak inhabited by Spain. The Matador Team is planned to be hosted at the Nationala Arena in the continued phase of Group F.
Romania is currently in line at number 3 with 7 points after the final test won a landslide victory at Malta. They had won 0-3 in the first round through brace George Puscas (7 ‘, 29’), and managed to add one more goal through Dennis Man (90 + 1 ‘). In fact, Alexandru Chipciu received a red card ten minutes earlier.
Spain itself is quite difficult when entertaining Sweden in the same week. They also have to wait for the penalty prize to score the first two goals which were closed by Mikel Oyarzabal (87 ‘) with a 3-0 position. It was this victory that kept them on top, now with 12 points.
For Spain, the game against Romania will be as important as Sweden as the two closest participants on the standings. They have traveled twice so far, bringing scores 0-2 and 1-4 from Malta and Kep Faru. This positive trend will be continued by Robert Moreno who previously served as assistant to Luis Enrique and is now appointed as head coach.
From the stronghold of Romania, this match will be the second home match after winning with a landslide score, 4-1, over Kep Faru. They also briefly faced Spain three years ago in a test match with a 0-0 position. At a minimum, they try to aim for the same results so as not to lose numbers at home, while opening the opportunity to shift Sweden as runner up.
Substitution of head coaches in the enemy camp becomes an opportunity that can be exploited, moreover they will also not be strengthened by Marco Asensio and Isco who are still injured, while Diego Costa, Koke, and Alvaro Morata are not brought in this match. Unfortunately, Alexandru Chicpciu also could not go down due to a red card against Malta, so Romania seem to have to focus on themselves so as not to bear the shame of being a host.
Our Prediction: Over 2.5
Odds: 1.85
