Pusamania Borneo FC vs Arema Malang
Borneo FC will return to play as host to host Arema Malang in the second match of the Indonesian League 1 this week. Interestingly Borneo FC in this match can play at their own headquarters namely the Segiri Samarinda Stadium after the inaugural match yesterday playing at the Aji Imbut Stadium, Mitra Kukar headquarters and this will certainly give a different atmosphere.
When the inaugural match yesterday Borneo FC was held to a draw by Bhayangkara FC with a score of 1-1. The draw was arguably very dramatic, where Borneo FC which was seeded before the match had a 1-0 lead ahead of M. Conti’s goal on 57 minutes but the minutes before the end of the match Bhayangkara FC gave a surprise with the equalizing goal scored by R. Fergonzi 90 minutes.
Instead turned to Arema Malang who got their first straight defeat. Coming against a team from Central Java PSS Sleman, Arema Malang was made helpless in a 3-1 defeat. The match has been running for 2 minutes B. Ferreira opened the tap for PSS Sleman then Arema Malang equalized 29 minutes thanks to S. Comvalius and the 1-1 score lasted until halftime. Then in the second round PSS Sleman returned victorious because of the goals of E. Bokhashvili and R. Perkasa in minutes 57 and 82.
Seeing what happened yesterday, Arema Malang is like showing it is not ready to face the new season. Their game patterns are immature and different compared to Borneo FC which failed to win because of luck. Back again with a different atmosphere, Borneo is believed to be able to reap the results of their first win this season, this is also reinforced by the reason Arema Malang in 2 home games to Samarinda are always subdued.
Our Prediction: 1
Odds: 1.43
