Paris Saint Germain vs Dijon
PSG and Dijon will meet again this weekend after fighting in the Coupe de France in the middle of last month. This time they competed in Week 27 of Ligue 1 which was held on Saturday (29/2) at the Parc des Princes. The capital team is aiming for the same result as the host.
Yesterday’s quarter-final game ended in a landslide victory, 1-6, for PSG after finishing scoring four goals after halftime. They then played three times after the game which ended in a draw against Amiens (4-4), losing to Borussia Dortmund (2-1) at UCL, then winning over Bordeaux (4-3) on Monday (24/2) yesterday. In fact, the party must be spotted with a Neymar red card (90 + 2 ‘) so the player must be absent to undergo sanctions.
On the one hand, Dijon’s appearance did not improve after yesterday’s disaster, which only won a draw against Bordeaux (2-2) and AS Monaco (1-1). As a result, they landed just above the red zone, even with just goal difference.
Apart from that problem, Dijon won the first meeting against PSG with a score of 2-1 in the Ligue 1 competition. Unfortunately, they always fell during the last five visits to the Parc des Princes, not even scoring goals (2-0, 3- 0, 8-0, 3-0, 4-0). Therefore, they are also predicted to reap bad results and are likely to enter the relegation zone, while PSG is getting stronger at the top of the table, now with a distance of thirteen points.
Our Prediction: Over 3.5 goals
Odds: 1.58
