Lazio vs Virtus Entella
Middle of this week Lazio will hold a test match against Virtus Entella. Although they are friendly, they are expected to still appear serious as the first clash against the enemy. The match was broadcast Wednesday (24/7) evening live from Stadio Rodolfo Zandegiacomo.
So far Lazio have only appeared once in pre-season matches, namely facing Triestina on Sunday (7/21) yesterday with a score of 5-2. A number of trial matches will still be faced in order to increase report cards last season where they only finished 8th in Serie A so they failed to appear in Europe.
On the enemy side, Virtus Entella has performed twice on this holiday, beginning with a 1-2 victory against Chievo Verina, then yesterday’s weekend slaughtered TBD with a score of 8-0. The momentum will be used to make a surprise against Lazio, especially if they are status as champions of Serie C last season’s group A. The title was successfully claimed dramatically in the last jornada, capitalizing on the Piacenza defeat at the Robur Siena headquarters.
With such positive conditions, Virtus Entella hopes to be able to stem the power of Lazio. However, the match will be difficult given the status of the capital team as seasoned Serie A participants.
