La Equidad vs Royal Pari FC
La Equidad changed its role as host in the Copa Sudamericana’s last 16 second leg. They will again meet with Royal Pari, who this time was hosted at Estadio El Campin on Wednesday (7/17).
The first match was held on Wednesday (10/7) which was won by La Equidad with a score of 1-2. They did appear better than the host with 67% possession and 7 shots on target, while the enemy only replied 3 times. However, they have to wait until 80 minutes to break the deadlock.
The match at El Campin should be easier because they are recorded to only lose 1 time from Envigado due to a red card, while the remaining 3 wins and 2 draws. They also don’t need to play insistent on tomorrow’s match because they only need a draw. The only challenge comes from the tight schedule because they are still playing until Sunday (7/14) in the Colombian League. Unfortunately, they lost 3-2 to Atl Huila in the match.
Meanwhile, Royal Pari did not have an agenda at all after yesterday’s game. It’s just that the defeat in the match was the third in a row since it fell from Real Potosi and CSD Macara. Of course it was a very bad record to take on the first visit to El Campin.
