Guangzhou Evergrande vs Beijing Renhe
A number of CSL participants will face a tight schedule in the last week of the month, including Guangzhou Evergrande which is scheduled to host Beijing Renhe on Wednesday (29/5). They met at the Chinese Cup fifth round draw held at Tianhe Stadium.
Guangzhou Evergrande had just entertained Shenzhen FC there last weekend, and made it through Wei Shihao’s only goal. This victory helped them to occupy the top 3 of CSL until match day 11.
News of the victory was also heard from Beijing’s Renhe headquarters which held a 2-1 party over Tianjin Teda. In fact, the visitors completed their suffering with a Mirahmetjan Muzepper red card 3 minutes before the long whistle.
Thanks to that victory, Beijing Renhe was temporarily released from the position of caretaker with a difference of 1 point. They did appear below standard so far, even yesterday’s victory was the first point of the month after losing in the opening 3 matches.
Meanwhile, last weekend’s party helped Guangzhou Evergrande claim 3 consecutive wins in domestic and international competitions since beating Wuhan Zall on match day 10.
With a trend that is so lame, Guangzhou Evergrande was favored as a winner. They also received additional motivation after losing 2-1 at home to Beijing Renhe in the last clash last April, while 2 appearances at Tianhe won with a landslide score, 3-0 and 6-1.
Our Prediction: 1
