Faroe Islands vs Spain
Spain will travel to the city of Torshvn to face the host of the Faroe Islands in a Euro qualifier. Spain will be eyeing a big win to strengthen their position as ruler of Group F.
As the first seed in Group F of Euro 2020 Qualification, Spain did manage to win their first 2 matches in this Group. However, Spain’s performance is actually not at their best. Evidently, in the first game they were only able to win 2-1 when entertaining Norway. Then in the second match, Spain was only able to win 2-0 over a weak team, Malta.
The two victories made Spain stand at the top of Group F. They were 2 points ahead of Sweden at the top of the table, 3 points ahead of Romania and Malta in third and fourth. To strengthen its position at the top of the standings, Spain will also aim for a big victory when dealing with the Faroe Islands this weekend.
On the other hand, for the Faroe Islands this will obviously be a very difficult match even though it will appear in public. Apart from losing far too much about quality, the Faroe Islands also lacked considerable confidence ahead of this fight. In the first two games, the Faroe Islands lost to Romania and Malta. These two defeats make the Faroe Islands winless in their last 7 matches in all competitions. With this condition, the Faroe Islands really don’t have much hope for points.
