England vs Bulgaria
A super-easy test awaits England this weekend when they host Bulgaria at Wembley Stadium. They met in the fifth week of Group A qualification, which was planned to be held on Saturday (7/9).
So far England are still perfect with two wins over the Czech Republic and Montenegro. Don’t forget, they also won 3rd place in the UEFA Nations League after beating Switzerland on penalties.
Bulgaria itself has not been able to achieve victory until today after being defeated by Kosovo. Score 2-2 almost closed the match before they missed Elba Rashani’s goal (90 + 2 ‘) at the end of the match. As a result, they went down to the bottom of the standings.
Regarding tomorrow’s match, Bulgaria is predicted to again lose points, especially if this time playing at home to the enemy. The first two away matches also only contributed 1-1 and 2-1 to Kosovo and the Czech Rep, while England managed to open their home matches with a 5-0 party over the Czech Rep. History also clearly led the Three Lions team to win after the last clash nine years ago won with a score of 4-0 and 0-3.
Raheem Sterling became the host’s most fertile player with a notch 4 goals, followed by Harry Kane with 2 goals. The two players will go down in the match tomorrow with Jadon Sancho on the front lines. Trent Alexander-Arnold is also likely to play since the beginning following the injury of Aaron Wan-Bissaka. With a fairly complete squad, Gareth Southgate’s protege should have been able to hold a goal party at Wembley.
Our Prediction: Over 2.5
Odds: 1.42
