Beijing Guoan vs Wuhan ZALL
The defeat at the end of last month threatened the position of Beijing Guoan at the top of the standings. Saturday (6/7), they tried to win when visited by Wuhan Zall. Two camps competed on 16 CSL match days which aired live from Workers Stadium.
Last Sunday (30/6), Beijing Guoan arrived at Shandong Luneng headquarters and had to admit the home advantage 2-0 after letting Roger Guedes score the brace. They are still disappointed with the results because playing is superior in both possession (66%) and shot on target (2-7). This defeat makes them now only two points ahead of Guangzhou Evergrande as runner up.
Wuhan Zall also appeared on the road last weekend, but managed to steal 0-2 from the Hebei CFFC headquarters through a Jean Evrad Kouassi goal and Rafael da Silva penalty. Thanks to this victory they also rose to number 7 in the standings.
The win also affected Wuhan Zall’s psychological condition because it was the third win in a row on away matches. That capital will be badly needed when it arrives at Workers this weekend because Beijing Guoan managed to record a perfect record so far with 7 wins.
This season was the third opportunity for Wuhan Zall to challenge Beijing Guoan. The first two opportunities were accepted in 2013 with a score of 0-1 and 3-1 for rivals, while this season again lost 0-1 as the host.
Our Prediction: Over 2.5
