Serbia vs Lithuania
Serbia will host Lithuania in the Euro, Group B Qualification continued on Tuesday (11/06) early morning. Serbia must win if they still want to have the chance to qualify for Euro 2020.
Serbia appeared disappointing at the start of qualifying. Had a surprise by holding Portugal 1-1 draw in the first matchday, the performance of Serbia experienced an anti-climax which lost 0-5 when they visited the Ukrainian headquarters. With a score of 1 point they currently have, Serbia must be content to sit at the bottom of the standings and within 3 points of Luxembourg in second place.
On the other hand, Lithuania has only collected 1 point from the 2 matches they have played. Lithuania lost 1-2 when they went to Luxembourg at the first matchday, then were only able to draw 1-1 when they took turns entertaining Luxembourg. Lithuania also ranked 4th with a score of 1 point, superior goal difference over Serbia at the bottom of the standings.
Serbia have the chance to make this match their first win in a Euro qualifier. By playing at home and with better quality, Serbia should be able to win this fight. However, this rather poor performance, especially the 0-5 defeat of Ukraine in his last game, will probably affect Serbia’s confidence. Even so, Serbia is predicted to still be able to win this fight.
