USA vs Jamaica
Audi Field is scheduled to hold a test match between USA hosts against Jamaica. They have to wait two years to meet again after last clashing at the CONCACAF Gold Cup.
USA closed the trial at the end of March with a 1-1 draw against Chile. Uncle Sam took a quick lead four minutes after kick off, but was immediately replied to five minutes later until time was up there were no additional goals. Overall, the visitors instead dominated with 67% possession and 3 shots on target which was only replied once by the host.
On the one hand, Jamaica closed their final test match with a narrow defeat at the Costa Rica headquarters. The hosts took the lead on 28 minutes through the actions of Keysher Fuller Spence and managed to maintain the position until the match broke up.
It was the second defeat in a row for Jamaica after surrendering 2-0 as El Salvador guests. Of course these two minor results make them quite anxious because they will return to playing as visitors in tomorrow’s match.
Not to mention the fact that the USA has never lost in their 5 home games; Draw last March made them pocket 3 wins and 2 draws, even the entire victory was accompanied by a clean sheet.
USA also kept a positive record for Jamaica after two years ago winning 2-1 in the Gold Cup event. That thin difference was enough to help them reap 5 wins on 6 occasions to meet.
