Kaiserslautern vs Bayern Munchen
One German soccer amateur club, Kaiserslautern, had the chance against defending champions Bayern Munich earlier this week in a friendly match. But the draw from this match was not their first meeting because Kaiserslautern actually played in the Bundesliga’s major league in 2012 and met last time at the 2014 German Cup.
But after nearly a decade no longer playing in the main league, Kaiserslautern is currently down to the third caste of German football or rather League 3. Their appearance in the competition is still somewhat disappointing, ending this season ranked 9th in the standings. Of the 38 matches that have been played, only 13 wins, 12 draws and 13 defeats.
Although in the last two matches of the season, it won in a row, but against Bayern Munich the result was still not enough. Turning back to Bayern Munich, Robert Lewandowski et al just returned to lift the German trophy after last year failed. They beat strong RB Leipzig team with 3 goals without reply, but facing Kaiserslautern it seems the coach N. Kovač did not bring down the full squad.
The reason for not dropping the full team in this match is certainly because the core players of Bayern Munich will be rested after undergoing a very heavy season besides Kaiserslautern as well as strength and quality under Bayern Munich. Even though N. Kovač lowered the lining squad did not close the big chance of winning in this match. Most likely Bayern Munich beat Kaiserslautern easily.
Our Prediction: 2
Odds: 1.35
