They won the League Cup in the final with Chelsea, and in the last round of the Champions League they easily overcame Schalke 04. In the series of eight consecutive victories, City received only two of them, and in the last two stages they have defeated Fulham and Cardiff 2-0 at the same score. In this game is expected the return of striker Sergio Aguero.
