Mansfield Town vs Crewe Alexandra
A series of bad results threatened Mansfield to be kicked from the top 3 ranking. Saturday (3/23) they were determined to rise when visited by Crewe at Field Mill.
Mansfield just hosted Lincoln City on Tuesday (3/19) yesterday with a 1-1 position, a result that was quite appropriate after each of them created 4 kicks on target.
It’s just that Mansfield accepted the draw as a disaster because it made them never win 3 matches in a row, starting with a defeat at the Port Vale headquarters, then drawing 0-0 at home to Crawley. It is this graph that makes them just superior to the goal of MK Dons in 4th place.
On the one hand, Crewe was in high confidence after beating Crawley Town with a landslide score, 6-1. Miraculous, because they left behind first through Ollie Palmer’s penalty goal in the first 13 minutes.
Beyond the euphoria, they must first receive 2 draws and suffer 3 losses. In other words, it’s still too early to celebrate the return of children to the winning path, especially tomorrow appearing at home to opponents.
