Glasgow Rangers vs Saint Mirren
Rangers are still looking for a gap to climb to the top of the Premier League ahead of the 22nd week. They will act as host to host St Mirren at Ibrox Stadium.
Rangers have just hosted Stranraer in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup last Saturday (1/18). They are 2-0 up through Scott Arfield (44 ‘) and Jermain Defoe (66’). Meanwhile, St Mirren also managed to take advantage of a home game to win 3-0 over Broxburn Ath in the same event. So, both camps both got a sweet report card last weekend.
The problem is, the St Mirren chart in the Premier League is fairly minimalist to go under to Ibrox. The reason is, they only won 2 times in the last 5 matches, the remaining 2 draws and 1 loss. The amount was received after meeting Hamilton Academical (0-1), Livingston (3-3), St Johnstone (0-0), Celtic (1-2), and Kilmarnock (1-0).
On the one hand, Rangers welcomed the match this time armed with four consecutive wins against Motherwell (0-2), Hibernian (0-3), Kilmarnock (1-0), and Celtic (1-2). This achievement helped them to stay on top with a difference of two numbers to this day. In fact, they could have been there in the middle of this week after pocketing six consecutive wins while entertaining St Mirren at Ibrox, even with a landslide aggregate of 17-2 and 4 clean sheets.
Our Prediction: Over 2.5
Odds: 1.53
